About Us

Founded in 1967 in a church basement, Olympia Early Learning Center (formerly Olympia Child Care Center) was designed to assist single mothers struggling to enter the work force or receive training and education. Several decades later, the vision continues, with a growing recognition of helping the children become school-ready.

We offer reasonable rates for infants, toddlers and preschool-aged children. We accept Washington State Department of Social and Health Services “Working Connections” child care supports and also offer a sliding fee scale for eligible families. Please call us for further information.
