OELC Inclement Weather/Natural Disaster Procedures

During Inclement weather or other Natural Disasters Olympia Early Learning Center will follow the Olympia School District, if the school has late start OELC will open at 10:00; if the school is closed OELC will be closed.

 Information regarding closures or delays will be posted on the Centers’ message machines and with the local radio stations as soon as possible -96.1 MIXX and 1240 am KGY.

If the center is open but road conditions become hazardous, we may request that you pick up your child as early as possible. This will allow everyone, including staff members who live a distance away, to arrive home safely.

Parents, please make sure that you have back-up child care arranged for any emergency including Center closures.
