Preschool Service

Olympia Early Learning Center is currently enrolling children from 3 to 5 years of age for a quality preschool service beginning in mid-September! The program is developmentally based for each class and offers pre-kindergarten activities which include letter and number recognition for 4 and 5 year olds. Included in all classes are:

• Circle Time, with stories, music and movement
• Art Activities
• Snack Time
• Science and Discovery Area
• Large Muscle Activities, and
• Dramatic Play Area

A wide variety of learning materials are also available for children to explore including a sensory table, puzzles, blocks, and games to enhance all areas of development. An outdoor area includes a large climbing structure with slide, a sandbox, and wheeled toys. We also have an indoor gym for those inclement weather days.

The program strongly focuses on learning social and problem-solving skills and adopts the philosophy that ‘children learn best through play’. Since the program has an affiliation with the Family Support Center, parenting workshops are available on a regular basis on topics related to parenting and child development.
