Over the past two decades, early brain research and other longitudinal studies have shown the importance of early learning and development. Children who receive quality early learning services enter kindergarten more ready, are less likely to need special education, graduate from high school at higher rates, attend and complete college at higher rates, are more apt to be homeowners, and are less likely to enter the court systems.
Recent research by the Minneapolis Federal Reserve tells us that the very best investment a community can make is in early childhood education. The studies state that dollars invested in early learning will return 14% to 17% on this investment, year after year.
At Olympia Early Learning Center, we take these messages very seriously. We firmly believe that a dedicated and well-trained professional staff is the centerpiece of quality services. Our teachers average more than five years with OELC and our management team boasts an average of over 12 years in the field.
